FOR the uninitiated (myself included), let’s do the abcs of some basic terminologies shall we?

Organic clothing - clothing that is all-natural, which suggests that its’ material originates from organic agriculture (wherein the land has not been subjected to synthetic chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and the like for at least three years) and is processed and manufactured using the most natural, non-toxic methods
Sustainable clothing - clothing that supports and nourishes the earth and the lives of all people involved in the processes of growing, manufacturing and distributing the clothing
Naturally derived man-made fibers - these are fibers that are naturally-derived but then are manufactured through processes that are almost identical to those used to fabricate synthetic material such as polyester or nylon
Fair trade - products labeled as such inform the consumer that these were supposedly grown and produced under certain policies and standards: "fair and stable prices, decent and safe working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and agricultural workers in developing countries."
Ethical fashion - fashion that considers the following principles: human rights, animal welfare and the environment, at all levels of the production chain
